Exploring faith traditions’ response to Colonization, Oppression, Immigration, Forgiveness, & Love.
Our event will consist of a panel of four spiritual leaders who each represent an individual spiritual practice. LaFe hopes to bring a dialogue in a safe environment where students will be able to learn more about these faiths and interact with the challenges each face. Each will be given an allotted time in which they will introduce themselves and the practice they are representing. After which they will be asked questions based from this survey. This event is entirely student-initiated and led with the goal to talk about how these faiths differ and share values in mind. In our partnership with the Chican@ Latin@ Student Development Center (CLSD) we hope to bring the best possible representation of what the community’s interests are regarding different faiths and their histories.
